What is an POP Lock? |

Basically, when you go to check mail, a flag is created on the email server that says that
you are checking your mail. This is known as a pop lock. If you have been trying to check
your mail and got disconnected(or try to check the same email address with two email programs)
and get a strange error message about "POP lock busy" or "Another session active", wait about
15 minutes and try again as these POP locks clear out automatically.
Sometimes they do not, so call oldwiz.net at 455-2460 and we will reset the lock for you.
