Double click on the Internet Connection Wizard icon on your Windows 98 desktop.
A wizard will appear and give you three options.
Choose the second option: 'I have an existing Internet account.'
Click Next.
Now you will be presented with two options. Choose the first option: 'Select this option if you are accessing the Internet using an Internet Service Provider….'
Click Next.
Place a 'dot' in 'Connect using my phone line' and click Next.
Place a 'dot' in 'Create a new dial up connection' and click Next.
Type in the Oldwiz.net Internet phone number 455-2534. Click Next.
A username and password screen will appear. Type in your username and password .
Click Next.
You will be presented with a screen called Advanced Settings. Leave the dot in 'No'.
Click Next.
Change the connection name from 'Connection to 455-2534' to 'Oldwiz.net'.
Click Next.

Mail Setup
Ensure that there is a check mark in 'Yes' I wish to setup Internet mail now and click next.
Ensure that the dot is in 'Create a new Internet mail account.' Click Next.
Type in your first and last name in the 'Display Name' field and click Next.
Type in your e-mail address in the e-mail address field and click Next.
An 'e-mail Server Names' box will appear. Type in pop.oldwiz.net into the POP3 field, mail.oldwiz.net into the SMTP field
Click Next.
Type in your username in the POP3 Account Name box and your password in the password box and click Next.
Leave your 'Friendly Name' as mail.oldwiz.net and click Next.

News Setup
Ensure that there is a dot in 'Yes' I wish to setup an Internet News account now and click Next.
Ensure that the dot is in 'Create a new Internet News account' and click Next.
Leave your display name as is and click Nex.
Leave your e-mail address as is and click Next.
Your Internet News server name is news.oldwiz.net.
Type this in and ensure that there is NOT a check mark present in the '...requires me to logon' and click Next.
Leave your account name as is and click Next.
You do not need to set up an Internet Directory service. Leave the dot in 'No' and click Next.
Click on Finish. After a moment the Windows 98 desktop will reappear. An icon called Internet Explorer will now be present.
Right mouse click on the Internet Explorer icon and choose Properties. In top box titled 'Address' type in
www.oldwiz.net and click OK.
You should now be back at the Windows 98 desktop again.

Connecting to the Internet
Double click on the Internet Explorer icon.
Type in your Username and Password (if necessary)
and put a check mark in 'Connect Automatically' and then click 'Connect'
